The Brink was created to generate and propagate generically promiscuous work on film and culture that may have personal, academic, and/or theoretical aspects without cleaving to any one form.

In addition to specific calls for themed releases, we're always looking for original 800-2500 word critical and creative pieces on film, TV, and other media. We also accept pitches (about 400 words), especially accompanied by a representative writing sample.

In the body of your email, please include a brief description of what's attached. If you're sending illustrations of photos, attach a representative sampling and we'll let you know if we want more.
